Adding Default Documents That Get Automatically Added to Your Trip

You can add default documents in Lato so that specific files (like terms & conditions, standard itineraries, check-lists, or policies) are automatically attached to every new trip you create. This helps ensure consistency across travel plans and saves time by eliminating the need to upload the same files manually. In this article, we explain how to set up your default documents and manage which files are automatically included in your trip outputs.

Setting Up Default Documents

  1. Go to Settings > Trip > Default documents

  2. Select the document you want to use, or upload it by pressing ”+

  3. Select the country this document applies to, or leave the country field empty for universal documents

  4. Name your document and select the document type

  5. Mark it as “enabled” so it wil be automatically added

  6. Click Save

Once You’ve Set Up Your Default Documents

  1. Create your trip with multiple days in the same destination

  2. The system automatically detects the country based on your itinerary

  3. Default documents are added immediately to your trip

  4. You can add, remove, or modify documents at any time
