Adding Transportation to Your Trip

In Lato, you can add transportation segments to your trip itinerary — including transfers, flights, trains, shuttles, or other transport options — to create a complete travel plan. Adding transportation details such as departure and arrival times, carrier information, and transfer specifics helps travellers understand their full journey and keeps your itinerary accurate. This guide explains how to search for, select, and insert transportation options into your trip.

Add Transportation to Your Trip

1. Go to your trip and open the “Itinerary” tab

2. Navigate to “Board” or “Day by Day”

3. Choose the day you want to add the transportation to

4. Click on the ”+” or the “Transportation” (✈️) icon to add a new transportation option

Information to Provide for Your Transportation

• Transportation type (e.g., flight, train, boat, bus, car, bike, foot, rental, custom) (required)

• Description

• Departure & arrival location

• Stopovers

• Transport number

• Carrier

• Departure & arrival day/time

• Supplier information

• Images

• Documents

• Pricing

• Only the “Transportation type” field is required, the rest is optional.
