Destination content is an automated feature that helps streamline the proposal-building process. It can be added to specific days within a trip and serves as a way to include information about that day's location.
Basic destination content
When a location is specified in the Overview step and destination content is added, Lato will automatically fetch relevant information from the Lato database. This includes a short description and up to 10 images of the destination. If no location has been provided, a blank destination content block will be created instead.
Extra destination content
Within the destination content block, you’ll find a toggle to enable extra destination content. When enabled, an info icon will appear next to the location name in the travel app.
If the icon does not appear, it means that no extra destination content is available for that location.
When available, extra destination content provides additional insights, including detailed information, tips, and fun facts about the destination — perfect for enriching the travel experience.
Library items
Destination content is also a library element, which means you can customize and reuse it across proposals.
When destination content is generated by Lato, you have the option to edit it and save the updated version to your library. The next time you add destination content for that location, your saved version from the library will be used instead of the default one it originally created.
This allows you to personalize and standardize destination information based on your preferences or branding.
