Setting a Default Status for New Trips in Lato

In Lato, you can set a default status for new trips so that every itinerary you create starts with a consistent state (like Quote or Approved). This helps standardise your workflow and keeps your trip list organised from the moment a trip is created. Below, we explain where to find the setting and how to choose your preferred default status for new itineraries.

What Each Trip Status Means

  • Quote: Your trip is awaiting approval from your client in the travel app

  • Approved: Your trip has been approved by your client

  • Booked: Your trip is officially booked πŸŽ‰βœˆοΈ

  • Cancelled: The trip has been cancelled and is no longer viewable in the travel app
