Creating a Task in Lato
In Lato, creating tasks lets you add and organise to-dos, deadlines, and responsibilities within a trip. Tasks help keep your planning workflow on track and ensure that team members or travellers know what actions to complete and by when. This guide explains how to create a new task, assign it to a task owner, set due dates, and manage tasks throughout your itinerary.

Where Can You Create & View Tasks

From the Tasks step of your trip

Directly in your Contact details

From the main Tasks menu
In the Trip’s Tasks Step

Open or create a trip

Go to the Tasks tab

Click on “New trip task ”

Fill in the necessary information and choose the settings

Click on “Create task ” to complete the process

Save your trip
In Your Contact Details

Open the Contacts menu

Click on a listed contact name

Navigate to the Tasks section

Click on ”+ ” to add a task

Fill in the necessaryinformation and choose the settings

Click on “Create task ” to complete the process

In the Main Tasks Menu

Open the Tasks menu

Click on “New task ”

On this menu you can set a direct relation between that task and a trip or a contact by choosing**“Select relation”.**
