Optional activities are experiences that travellers can choose to add or skip during their trip. They appear with an "Optional" badge in the travel app and are handled separately in pricing calculations, making it easy for travellers to see which activities are included in the base price and which are additional.
How to Mark an Activity as Optional?
Open your trip in the trip editor > Itinerary > Day by day
Either add a new activity or click on an existing activity to edit it
On the "General" tab, look for the “Optional” toggle
Toggle the switch to “on” to mark the activity as optional
Click “Save”
Once saved, you'll see an "Optional" badge next to the activity in the travel app, making it clear to travellers that this is an optional experience
