Including Videos in a Trip

In Lato, you can include videos in your trip itinerary to help travellers visualise destinations, activities, and experiences. Videos can make your travel plans more engaging by showcasing highlights, local attractions, or key moments that photos alone can’t capture. This guide explains how to add video content to your trips, where videos will appear, and how to manage them within your itinerary editor.

As a General Document

1. Open a trip

2. In the General section, scroll all the way down to Documents

3. Click on ”+” to add a document

4. Go to “Add website URL”

5. Insert the URL that links to a video

6. Save the trip

   • So far there is no option to upload a video file directly.

Attached to Your Element as Image

1. Open a trip

2. Go to the Itinerary section

3. Navigate to the Board or Day by Day tab

4. Open an element in one of the trip days

5. Go to the Images tab and click on the Image button

6. Open the Upload image menu

7. Enter a video URL (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)

8. Click on Add

9. Choose Add images

10. Save the trip

    • You can drag and drop the inserted video to the desired place in the images order.

Attached to Your Element as a Document

1. Open a trip

2. Go to Itinerary

3. Navigate to the Board or Day by Day tab

4. Open an element in one of the trip days

5. Go to the Documents tab

6. Click on ”+” to add a document

7. Go to “Add website URL”

8. Insert an URL that links to a video

9. Press Add Link

10. Save the trip
