Adding Documents to Your Trip

You can use Lato to share all kinds of travel documents with your clients, from vouchers and PDFs with useful travel information to website links and YouTube videos. Your clients can find everything in one place in the Travel App: under More > Documents on desktop, or the three dots > Documents on mobile.

There are several ways to add documents, depending on whether you want to share them with clients travelling to a particular country, with a specific travel group, or as vouchers created directly in Lato.

• Default documents: Add documents in your account settings to include them automatically in trips to a specific country. You can choose whether they appear in the quote, the booked trip or both.

• Trip-specific documents: Add documents in your trip settings to share information for a particular trip or travel group, such as flight tickets or partner vouchers.

• Vouchers created in Lato: Create vouchers directly in Lato. These also appear under Documents in the Travel App, as well as in other relevant places in the trip.

Adding a Document to a Trip

1. Go to your trip

2. Open the General tab and scroll to the bottom

3. Click on the ”+” in the Documents menu

4. You can upload one of the supported document types or add a website URL

5. You can also upload or add them inside the Documents tab of a transport, activity or accommodation

Adding Internal Notes and Documents to a Trip

• Attach internal notes and documents to your trip to keep your team in the loop or as handy reminders for yourself.

What Type of Documents Can You Add?

• You can add just about any file (video, image, document, audio, …) to your trip for your travellers to see: pdf, doc(x), xls(x), ppt(x), jpeg, png, gpx files up to 10MB.

Where Can The Traveller Find the Documents?

• In the Travel App, under any trip elements (activities, transportations, accommodations)
• Under the More tab in the Travel App
• At the bottom of the downloaded trip PDF file
