Lato features its own built-in CRM. You can add a contact to your trip to link travellers or clients directly to their itinerary. This allows you to manage personal details, streamline communication, and keep all trip-related information connected in one place. This guide explains how to select an existing contact or create a new one, and how linking contacts improves organisation across your trips.

Adding contacts to your trips ensures everyone’s information is properly organised and easily accessible throughout your travel planning process.

Adding an Existing Contact

If the person you want to add is already in your contact database, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the trip you’re working on

  2. Go to the “Travellers” section on the “General” tab

  3. Click “Search for contacts…” and type the person’s name on the search box

  4. If the contact exists, you can select them from the dropdown list and they will be added to the Travellers list

Creating a New Contact

If you need to add someone who isn’t in your contact database yet, you can create them on the spot:

  1. Open the trip you’re working on

  2. Go to the “Travellers” section on the “General” tab

  3. Click “Search for contacts…” and type the person’s name on the search box

  4. Click “Create & Add person”, or press “+

  5. Fill in their details

  6. Click “Create & add person” to save the contact and add them to your trip

Contacts Added! What Happens Next?

Once you’ve added contacts to your trip:

  • They’ll appear in your travellers list

  • You can view their full contact details by clicking on their name

  • They’ll be included in any trip communications or documents you generate

  • Their information will be saved in your contacts database for future trips
