In Lato, creating tasks lets you add and organise to-dos, deadlines, and responsibilities within a trip. Tasks help keep your planning workflow on track and ensure that team members or travellers know what actions to complete and by when. This guide explains how to create a new task, assign it to a task owner, set due dates, and manage tasks throughout your itinerary.

Where Can You Create & View Tasks

  • From the Tasks step of your trip

  • Directly in your Contact details

  • From the main Tasks menu

In the Trip's Tasks Step

  1. Open or create a trip

  2. Go to the Tasks tab

  3. Click on "New trip task"

  4. Fill in the necessary information and choose the settings

  5. Click on "Create task" to complete the process

  6. Save your trip 

In Your Contact Details

  1. Open the Contacts menu

  2. Click on a listed contact name

  3. Navigate to the Tasks section

  4. Click on "+" to add a task

  5. Fill in the necessary information and choose the settings

  6. Click on "Create task" to complete the process

  7. Save your trip

In the Main Tasks Menu

  1. Open the Tasks menu

  2. Click on "New task"

  3. Fill in the necessary information and choose the settings

  4. Click on "Create task" to complete the process

  5. Save your trip

On this menu you can set a direct relation between that task and a trip or a contact by choosing "Select relation".
