In Lato, you can add accommodations to your trip itinerary by searching available hotels, selecting rooms and rates, and including stay details directly in your travel plan. Adding accommodation information ensures your itinerary is complete and ready to share with clients or travellers. This guide walks you through how to find hotels in Lato, choose the best options, and insert them into your trip with ease.

To Add Accommodations to Your Trip

  1. Go to your trip and open the "Itinerary" tab

  2. Click on "Day by Day"

  3. Choose the day you want to add the accommodation to

  4. Click on the "Accommodation" (🛌🏻) icon to add a new accommodation

  5. To add multiple accommodation options for a single day, just click on the accommodation icon again and add up to 5 for that day

    • Note: If you add the same accommodation, with the exact same name and location, on consecutive days, the nights will be bundled on the travel app.

Information to Provide for Your Accommodation

  • Accommodation name and rating

  • Description (can be generated with AI)

  • Location

  • Board types (type in your own, or choose from the preconfigured options)

  • Room types (type in your own, or choose from the preconfigured options)

  • Supplier information

  • Contact information

  • Images

  • Documents

  • Pricing

Import Accommodation

After adding an accommodation, you can also easily import the details for it:

  1. Click on the three dots on the right side

  2. Select "Import accommodation"

  3. Choose one of the 3 methods available (URL, File, Text)

  4. Click on "Import" and you're set

Don't forget to check if the import went well. You can always manually change or add anything you need.
