Trip settings and preferences in Lato let you control how new and existing trips behave and appear — including status, default language, price visibility, map options, chat settings, and document display. This guide explains each setting category and shows you how to configure them so your travel proposals are clear, consistent, and tailored to your workflow.

General

  • Group booking: By enabling this, your clients will be able to book multiple times

  • Allow collaborators to edit fields: Allow invited collaborators to edit fields (the price will always be editable)

  • Trip status: The status that will be used when you create a new trip

  • Default language: The language that will be used when you create a new trip

  • Booking link: Filling in this field will redirect your clients to your external booking form

  • Show price: When will your clients be able to see the price of their trip

Automations

  • Cancel quote automatically: after a specified number of days

  • Show extra destination content on travel app

Chat

  • Enable chat

  • Receive mail on chat message

Map

  • Show POIs: When will your clients see the POIs

  • POI range: The range for which POIs will be shown around the trip

  • Show directions: Display of directions between locations on the map

PDF Export

  • Enable PDF export: When will your clients be able to download a trip PDF

Documents

  • Show documents: Choose when travellers can see trip documents and booking information

Default Documents

  • Add any documents that will be automatically added inside every trip
