You can include videos in a trip itinerary in Lato to enrich your travel plans with dynamic content such as destination previews, partner videos, or customer stories. This article explains how to add video links or embeds to your trip, where video content appears for travellers, and best practices for managing video media in your itineraries.

As a General Document

  1. Open a Trip

  2. In the General step, scroll all the way down to Documents

  3. Click on "+" to add a document

  4. Go to "Add website URL"

  5. Insert the URL that links to a video

  6. Save the trip

    • So far there is no option to upload a video file directly.

Attached to Your Element as Image

  1. Open a Trip

  2. Go to Itinerary

  3. Navigate to the Day by Day tab

  4. Open an element in one of the trip days

  5. Go to the Images tab and click on the Image button

  6. Open the Upload image menu

  7. Enter a video URL (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)

  8. Click on Add

  9. Choose Add images

  10. Save the trip

    • You can drag and drop the inserted video to the desired place in the images order.

Attached to Your Element as a Document

  1. Open a Trip

  2. Go to Itinerary

  3. Navigate to the Day by Day tab

  4. Open an element in one of the trip days

  5. Go to the Documents tab

  6. Click on "+" to add a document

  7. Go to "Add website URL"

  9. Press Add Link

  10. Save the trip
