When you create a new trip, the first step is setting up your trip overview. This gives you a clear foundation for your travel planning and helps you organise your journey from start to finish.

How to Add Trip Days

  1. Open your trip and go to the "Itinerary" menu

  2. Navigate to the Locations tab

  3. Set the start date for your trip

  4. Add days to your trip (you can add increments of 1, 3 or 7 days)

  5. You can adjust the number of nights per trip day if needed

  6. Choose the location for each day of your trip

  7. Save your trip

Change Days Order

  • If you want to change the order of your route, simply click and hold the six dots to the left to a specific day and drag it to a new position. Lato will automatically update the itinerary on the map.

Remove Days

  • If you want to remove a specific day from your route, simply click on the Bin icon to the right of the day. Lato will automatically update the list.

Tips for Planning Duration

  • Consider travel time

  • Allow for rest

  • Check visa requirements

  • Plan for flexibility
